Welcome to my completed 456 Summer Season, built with second hand parts from the good people of the STW classifieds.
I haven't ridden it yet (other than 20 feet down the garden to check seat height which is too low in the image). I'll get some proper pictures when I take it to Sherwood next wednesday, so apologies for the poor cameraphone image.

I think the sickness has started - I have already thought about colour co-ordinating the seat clamp with the pedals and spacers.
Welcome to the club! Be warned - custom building bikes is addictive and expensive!
Good Job!
Completed my first recently - lovely feeling, isn't it!
It's great!
It's been out on the road today (uni commute) but I can't wait to get it on some actual MTB terrain. The fact that I can actually change gears now, and that it doesn't feel like riding in treacle is a big plus.
A friend has mentioned, having ridden it briefly, that it seems to be very well set up to go down hills quickly. I am hoping that "staying on it" is also part of that ๐
Looks like a nice bike Joe, I'm just putting the finishing touches to an old Kona Lava Dome, it's got purple anodized bits and a tartan saddle so should stand out a bit, in a proper nasty way.

Enjoy the bike mate, looks proper 'military' if that makes sense?
Heh, I think so - it's very utilitarian with less "sleek" and more "rugged" without it being made out of offcuts of the stuff they build Cat 797's out of (Tangerine Cinq, *ahem*), which I love.
My friend described it as a gate. ๐
I'm just happy that the wheels and crank run true, unlike the thing I have traded up from!
