ANOTHER bike recovered today!!
As a result of [url= http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/stolen-bike-recovered ]this thread[/url] I did a quick ebay search for my mates Giant Reign which was stolen from his inside his friends house last month.. the first result was the frame..
I let the guy know.. he informed the old bill and they were round there recovering the frame this afternoon.. they're going back with a warrant to search the property.. hopefully more stuff will be recovered when this happens..
The ad was very cleverly worded.. spelt correctly and told some story about wanting to build the frame up (listing some bling)but having to abandon the project..
In all the seller was very knowledgable about bikes.. had concocted an intricate and detailed cover story and was believable and literate.
Unfortunately for them.. they had listed a couple of distinguishing features.. ho hum 😀
