Got to love a 5 spot. I wasn't initially a fan of the raw finish but pics like this are starting to win me round.

yep just got back in time!

its a flux mate xc frame - raw finish is great & no paint to chip and worry about 😀

need to tidy the hoses up a little

weighs in at just over 25lb, frame cost £1250

very pleased with it might stick a low riser bar on though?

could pinch some from the brakes (mono4's) and rims - but not much

do miss the rocklobster though (not on the downhills though) 8)

ive got x2's on my five, am a big lad and they work well.

I might have to have a look at one when the 5 goes to the knackers yard.

I'm 5 10 and the frames a medium

just wish the head tube was longer as all the spacers look pants

if that isn't a thompson stem then try a thompson, they are taller than some others and you might be able to lose a spacer.

And that looks like a 0 degree stem, if you use a 5 or 10% you might lose another.

Sad I know but I'm pleased that I've finally found a bottle cage that stops a full bottle bashing against the underside of the top tube on descents...Bontrager side entry
