It's worth a shot in an emergency. I've not tried it but I reckon it's a bodge that might work until you can get the correct ones in.

Cheers that's what I was thinking. I have some 8 speeds in good nick and one of my mates 10 speed ones is borked and needs a quick fix in the morning. I'll give it a shot, whats the worst that can happen.!? ๐ฏ

I've done it the other way with no problems - using a 10 speed jockey on 9 speed block. The only difference that I can tell is the width of the jockey wheel. Same number of teeth - give it a whirl, I'm sure it will be fine

You fit them and the chain is to narrow to fit over them. Then you swap them back and your at square 1 again ๐
