I was so excited looking at the miles and miles of red blue and black graded mountain bike trails on the Saalbach Hinterglemm trail map.
I still can't quite believe it. All bar about 80km of it is fire road of the most hellish tedious variety. The red, black and blue has nothing to do with technical difficulty. It just indicates how prolonged the unpleasantness will be.
It's just weird. You either take your brain out and plod up miles of loathsome tedious fire roads on a 29er or hire some huge tractor with 8inches of travel and bump down some ripped to shite downhill trail covered in braking bumps.
Just weird.
It could be mind blowingly amazing, but it's just fairly good.
