I guess not officially. For the record I mean the Southern-most part of the European Alpine chain 😉

Oh you bugger! I'm wondering if I should rethink my Sarn Helen solo exploit next month and ask nicely if The Ladies(tm) will let me do your jaunt in Septemeber instead?
I'm at work at the moment so I can't see much of what's on your web site.
Is the route race hardtail'able for a person with pretty good all day riding fitness and average Peak Disrtict ride'able skills or is it Hans Rey territory?

Doable on almost any bike, but it's going to be enjoyed most on something a bit burlier than a race hardtail

I'm doing it on this:

Tech-wise, it's harder than the peaks but Hans Rey would p*ss on it, if that makes sense 🙂

I think I'll keep an eye on your blog before broaching the subject at home. It looks like a great ride.

Well I would suggest something a little more bouncy though 😉

You. Jammy. Git. Again.

Well I would suggest something a little more bouncy though

You ain't seen Ash ride that thing. He makes most riders on DH bikes look slow. I do notice he's stuck some baby forks back on it though.

Really looking forward to August!

No dawg are so last year, plus apparently the meta5.5 works much better but sushh 😉
Well I kinda did it. I was with François his familly and a couple of friends on the race. Not riding, more like sunbathing and pootling in the river to cheer people up and give them water. I am in no condition to ride the transvé to be honest. Plus I have enormous problems with my bikes at the moment 🙁

Speak to simon of this parish (email me & I'll pass it on if you like) who did exactly the same but Geneva to Monaco last year. I think more like 100k per day and 2-3000m

I suppose it's too late to get any route tips now!

post-hijack - I am in the middle of planning Garmisch to Venice via Cortina at the moment for August. I did ask had anyone any info and still waiting......

quite different to what I'm doing next week then really 😉
