Like the ones that come with some multi-tools, where can you buy them separately?
Why not just buy the allen key?
It would have a wall thickness of <0.5mm, sounds unlikely to me.
If you mean the 8mm adapters, I've never seen them sold seperately.
6mm minus 5mm = 1mm, divided by 2 because it fits over the smaller key, and with a tiny bit less for a clearance fit = <0.5mm.
That one in the pic is 8mm on a 5mm key.
Thanks for the maths lesson. I was wrong about the pictured one, but it's not inconceivable to have a 5mm socket in one end of say a 10mm bar, with a 6mm hex sticking out the other end of the bar now is it. But I guess no-one makes one! Have a nice day.
Good luck.
What you want there, I believe, is a 6mm Allen key.
That, and an attitude check.
Very helpful, thanks for taking the time to post. ๐
No offence meant Johnners, hope you have a thicker skin than Cougar ๐
Since pretty much every multi-tool or common allen key set has a 6mm, I think you may be looking for a solution to a none problem.
you could always get two 3mm allen keys and stick them together?
๐
Love it!
actually, you'd need 3 3mm hex keys to make a 6mm.
onza that depends what you use them for
