No doubt done before but it doesn't seem like an easy search...
Will a 650b wheel & tyre fit ok in a 26" wheeled Pike without fitting a skinny tyre?

The tyre would have to be suitably skinny.
For example my 26x2.4 rocket ron, is only a tiny bit smaller in diameter than my mate's specialized fast track 650b 2.0, im talking a couple of mm's.

There isn't a huge amount of clearance in Pikes for bigger tyres in the right wheel size, so I suspect it's a no.

Maybe go with a wider 26 rim, with a chubby 26 tyre, like a 2.3 or 2.4?

I had a 2.35 x 27.5 HRII in a 26 pike, not a great deal of clearance mind, didn't try riding it
