At the start of the year I sold the bike I used on the turbo trainer (wheel on variant) and bought a gravel bike, my plan to rack up miles from my door.
It never happened and the bikes been ridden twice. It has 35c wtb tyres on, what's my best option for getting this bike back on the turbo trainer? I know they make 650b turbo trainer tyres but they don't seem suited to wide rims.
Options as I see it;
get another back wheel
Get a direct drive turbo trainer
Any other ideas? Thanks
I think Tacx make one that’s 1.25” so about 559x32and not much narrower than your existing tyres?
Super cheap 700c rear wheel and a turbo tyre?
They are actually 47c and the rims are wider than the recommended use for the turbo trainer tires in 27.5
