I’ve had a 26” version, that was great,
Thinking of getting the latest version, not many reviews on them about, so interested to hear your views on them.

I tested one of these and a solarismax.
It was great, lively ride...but I preferred the Solaris. However I am quite tall at 6.2/3.
Not sure that helps much. You do get a decent smooth feeling frame and it wanted to be ridden hard - good on the singletrack sections I rode it through.
Was 4th Gen the first 27.5 Soul? That's what I have, great bike. Never had a bike longer than I have the Soul for good reason.
Can't really review it other than to say "both fun and capable in spades".
Had one for nigh on 18 months now. Excellent bit of kit and very much moved the game on from my original Soda which it replaced. Best technical climbing bike I’ve owned, stable and fast as **** downhill, yet still manages to be easy to pick up and play around with. I came very close to buying a Bfe which I think corners a hair better, but the Cotic guys suggested I wait for the Soul and true enough the ride quality of the lighter frame suits me far better for my riding - Peaks and Lakes natural trails.
