Feel like doing the 5 dales ride this week but the descents are a bit featureless.
Any ideas of places I can add in some tech or singletrack?
Looks promising in the area between Youlgreave and Darley Dale... Including: Carrs Wood, Robin Hoods Stride, Birchover, Stanton in the Peak, Stanton Moor plantation, Sabine Hay Wood, Clough Wood and Cambridge Wood.
Lots to go at but my knowledge in that area is lacking.
We'll be following this route, amended to exclude that stupid hill out of Darley Dale.

Can likely afford the time to add in up to about 10 miles. Don't mind cheeky in the slightest, it'll be late afternoon mid week. Gpxs gratefully received on DM.
Thanks all.
Nice little descent down to the river Lathkill. So rather than going on road to Youlgreave along the B5056, go straight up and across from Haddon Hall, heading SW. It then drops down to Coalpit Lane.
Another option is to go up through Edensor, onto Handley Lane, then down through the golf course into Bakewell, that has a bit of tech. Then follow the old railway line SE, towards Haddon Hall.
Head into the top of the wood on the beeley road. Climb over the wall. Head right at the first junction. Travel along for a bit through the stream. About 300 yards (very roughly) after the stream there is a track on the left which doubles back on yourself, nice steep techy to start and then into loamy stuff lower down.
