offers available for both these at around £50, my realistic budget.
Which should I go for?

My Convert is a cracking jacket - kept me dry in some pretty horrendous rain and commuting in the highlands. A bit sweaty, by hey ho.
Great to have the gilet option as well - I use it far more than I thought I would.

Have a look on decathlon they do some own brand stuff that's pretty good. I picked a waterproof jacket in store wear it all year round, base layers in winter.

I have a Convert which is great to use as a gillet but find that it doesnt breath that well and can get very sweaty. I've been thinking about getting a Crosslite by way of replacement as it seems to get quite good reviews.

Would be interested to hear from other users though.

I've had 3 crosslights, 2 were replacements, front chest zip failed on all, the way the zips attached to the jacket there's no way of replacing it once it goes. I'd go for the Endura.
