[Closed] 44mm headtube with a 1" 1/8 steerer

How can you see the steerer tube when the fork is fitted?

Errr, the crown is smaller....

you can see the crown is fairly narrow but it's not the end of the world.

Still don't think it's particularly visible or 'undersized' but perhaps I'm basing my judgement on Lynskey set-up that I'm familiar with...

Looks better with an external lower headset cup.

I don't have a photo to hand to back up my theory though.

1 1/8th is dead

Not on most HT frames I've looked at.

The 1 1/8th steerer I have just built into a Carbon 456 looks very much alive.
