So I've cracked the rim on the WTB wheels that came with my Whyte 905. Any recommendations for a replacement? Hope Fortus 35mm gets mixed reviews and Hunt rear is 31mm internal width. Tend to run 2.8 tyres most of the year, occasionally 2.6 rear.

Thanks in advance!

I've got a pair of Gipiemme MAG40 in the pile of things to build. Not a recomendation as such as I've not used them yet. But they're pretty light for their size.

@thisisnotaspoon - sounds good. Availability of some wheels may be a problem, I think!

I've been building my own wheels for years, so have a magpie like attraction to wierd rims when I see them cheap. The mags came from the bargain bin at planet-x a couple of years ago!

Kinda wish I'd picked up some 650b ones now as they'd do well with big tyres, and not many 29ers are designed arround 29+.
