Under a fair amount of strain with a big lad like you on it. ๐

Papadirt's Kona Hoss takes a 30.0mm seatpost.

And the correlation between downtube size and seat post size is...

buy that man some calipers!
Are those the same as "callipers"?
speling is not my strong point...
'Caliper' is perfectly correct spelling.
njee20, there is a correlation between seat post and seat tube sizes, it's just not very precise. It basically means that the seat post cannot be greater in diameter than the seat tube.

njee20 is clearly well aware of this. But there is no correlation between the DOWNTUBE and the seatpost size. Basically pedantry, as it was obvious what the op meant.
It was indeed pure pedantry, I did mean to put a smiley after it, let's pretend I did ๐
Opps, I forgot my smiley as well. ๐
I have a bike with a 34.9 not a Kona and the seat post is 30.9 but I don't think you could guarantee it's the same for all?
Sorry for the answer to the original question please return to the more entertaining answers that don't help the op at all ๐
