Dear Humvee Owners,
I'm wondering about getting some 3/4 Humvees to use off bike as well. I was wondering if they'd be suitable for aerobic exercise sesh's in our school hall or would they be simply too thick and hot or uncomforatble in non bike situations?
I'm currently using my old faithful Ron Hill Tracksters but am getting significant earache from young trendy daughters who can't cope with Dad in " those awful leggin things....."
Daughters eh?? who'd have 'em ( but i do love them to bits despite earache!)
So.....could i use Humvees for such duties???
cheers
Q
Well, I've used mine in the hotter european weathers, and they have been fine, not to stuffy. If you were using them indoors some non padded lycra would be needed underneath to stop knacker slap. The one guarantee is you could not look any worse than you do in tracksters ๐ณ (I know they are functional, but they are a crime against the eye)
I would have thought all the zips bouncing around would be pretty annoying, especially if you have to get on the floor.
Sounds like the ideal reason to treat yourself to some rapha fixed shorts, more classy, less zips ๐ (waits lazily for the how much brigade)
smell-it:
erm.....have you been talking to my daughters????
Yes ( hangs head ) perhaps they are a bit....unsightly? I'm a victim of using what was available at the time and never caught up with 'fashion'.....whatever that is!
Will remember to take into consideration plum dangling issues!!!!
sc-xc: no, don't need to roll on floor!
boatman: will google!
Q
just get some cheap shorts for aerobics from Sport and Save or similar.
boatman:
Wife has rendered semlling salts to me cos she couldn't work out what had happend, and I was last heard muttering ....
" HOW MUCH????"
goes to lie down.....
Q
lol ๐ I never claimed they were reasonable, seems like the sport and save option may be the way forward.
boatman:
To be fair they do look nice, but....!
