Looking at changing my 3x10 29er to an SLX double instead of the deore triple which i currently have looking at the slx version they come in 24/38 or 26/38?
Any recommendations on which would be a better range of gears for the bigger wheels?

I run a 24/38 XT on mine and can't fault it.

I'll have a full set of 2 x 10 xt for sale in about a week, 24/38 with 11/36 cassette. Got used for a week in Spain last year, going 1x11 so it has to go
