gonna run a double on my new bike.
what is the best choice of rings.
i am a spinner not a grinder.........
22/32 with a 12/34 cassette was my choice
got a 28/38 deore and it seems hellish hard.

im running a standard 22,32 with bashring and a 9speed 32 rear on semi slicks (halo twinrails)and its fine,only run out of gears with strong tailwind,sits 18 mph with a tail breeze,on a 26" this gearing seems a bit low for road work,34 would be good for lots of big climbing up north!

28/38 is the same as 30/40 on a 26er.......
24/36 is what id go for, and 26/38 for racing, both with an 11-34t (well i used to, now its 34x20 for racing........)

Terrain dependant of course, but how about 1x9 with either a 30t or 32t
