I have a 160 pike cartridge from a pair of 27.5 pokes. Can this be fitted to a pair of 29er pokes with 150 travel to get the extra 10mm of travel?

No.
A 160mm 650b airshaft is 140 or 130mm for a 29" fork.
You need a 29" specific 160mm shaft.
