As per title really; I don't have ready access to a 135x10mm / 27.5 x 2.8" rear wheel.

I am hoping that this combination would just about fit and would be grateful if anyone with experience of trying could advise me accordingly? Thanks, Peter...

I have a Fortitude Race and tried to shoehorn the rear wheel from a Longtitude (not sure what model year, but the frame was dark matt green) onto it.  It was non-boost 27.5 x 2.8".

It fitted and ran fine through all of the gears in the work stand, BUT it had absolutely no clearance (about 1mm). I reckon it would rub the chain stays seriously when actually ridden.

I run 2.4" Conti X Kings on my Fortitude and they are as big as I would go on the rear...

Op, it you wanted to try it cheaply I have a B+ rear wheel for sale that fits a standard back end (135 and 142 adaptors). It has a 2.8 trailblazer fitted which is the tyre of choice for shoehorning b+ into frames. Tyre is free with the wheel (has plenty of tread left I just change to something bigger as my frame will take 3".

nixie - i'm curious for the specifics: rim, spokes, nipples (brass or alu) and hub, and which version of the trailblazer (light or tough)? Oh, and what you're asking, inc. P&P £? Cheers ....also, if you're near Sheffield, any chance I could come have a look-see..?..
