As much as I would like a brand new Switchback frame, financial circumstances mean a second hand one is much easier to justify. By far the majority of those are 26”; is it possible to successfully slot a 27.5” in? Has anyone done this?

I haven't tried it, but I'd be a bit surprised if it fit. The Switchback uses very short chainstay (hence the slight bend in seat tube) to accommodate the wheel, so I think space is fairly tight.
However, you could run a mullet 26/27.5 set up? Or wait for a 27.5 to become available.
