I read a thread where BadlyWiredDog was about to take delivery of some 29er Crests and try fitting/riding a 25mm road tyre...
Is he, or anyone else able to confirm that they fit on without a major wrestle and ride Ok?

The guy who built up my cross bike failed miserably with 28mm tyres! Went for Mavic Open Pro rims in the end.

bump for the office crowd - anyone else had any success with 25s or 28 road tyres...?
