My ageing 2002/2003? Boxxer axle caps are dying frOm being rounded off.
It's one of those 20mm axles with end caps that screw in both sides.
So I'm struggling to find an exact replacement obviously, but are other 20mm axles the same? Can I just buy a zocchi one and it'll work just as well? Is there some kind of IS on these things?

If you measure it up I can measure up a zocchi one for you, all are 20 mm diameter unless it has a stepped section- the only issue will be the length and even that could be compensated for to an extent

I've salvaged those before. Use a flat needle file, and enlarge the hole slightly so a 6mm key will fit.
