2015 Orange Clockwork Frame Help.
Hi i have the above frame on it's way but trying to figure out Headset configurations, it looks as though it is supplied with a cane creek headset possibly 40-series but not 100% sure, I wan't to fit my exciting 1 1/8 forks on it, can anyone give me some info as to what crown race i can fit on the steerer tube to fit the frame with this headset. Hopfully it's possible, or will i have to buy a new headset like Hope or something.
If you look on the Orange website it lists what headset the frame takes (under spec).
Did you go 650 or 29?
I tried to buy a 650 frame direct but full build only, I really like it, apart from the butt fugly rear caliper mount (Crushes is much tidyer). Lots of internal cables creates some noise (try rubber O rings when threading them through).
It's listed under geometry, same for 650 & 29er,
Upper: ZS44 tapered 28.6
Lower: EC49/40
