Pretty much decided on a new Alpine 160 frame after much deliberating between it and a new Five...
Just curious if people had any experience/opinion on which shock to spec it with between the Monarch Plus or Float X?
Is the Fox £100 better?

Ok, a CCDB is not a specifiable option but could source one separately I suppose. Why do you think it is a better option?
Anyone else have any thoughts?
Also keen to hear opinions on the latest Alpine 160 in general...
I'm looking for a new shock for my Covert (single pivot 160mm like the alpine) and after much research have settled on a CCDB air CS. Slight weight penalty but apparently worth it, plush downhill and extra traction climbing, not tried one yet but read lots of user feedback
