Can't find the dam thing anywhere and google has failed me.Not even on there site.
Help o stw google masters. ๐
I found it somewhere before I bought mine, can't find them now though.
From memory for the 19"
ETT = 615mm
HA = 66deg
doesn't the x signify a frame only option? therefore geo would depend on what forks you plug in.
Lets go with the 160 forks that should be on it and in medium flavor. ๐
Cheers
Specs will be with the 160mm fork the full bike was sold with.
Sorry I don't have the ETT for the medium. HA will be the same though. Oh I think the Seat tube angle was 72 degrees. Apart from the slightly longer then usual ETT it's all pretty normal stuff for a long travel trail/enduro frame.
Apart from the slightly longer then usual ETT
Cheers psycorp.This is what i'm after.
It had a 66 degree HA which was slack at the time, although with the new Giant Reign coming in at 65 degrees and that Mojo chap putting -3 degree anglesets in his bikes to get 63 degree HA trail bikes I have no idea where we're heading with geometry?!
Seems like we'll be pedalling around DH bikes with steep seat tubes in a year or two.
So a 2014 16x is a 2013 161 toppers3933 ?
From memory - and MisterP may be along to confirm or correct this - for 2014 the Ariel went to 150mm travel and 27.5" wheels, so it was the 15x (frame) and 151 or 152 complete bikes.
So if you have or are looking at a 16x (which is the frameset and identical in geometry to the bikes) or 161 or 162 complete bike, it's a 2013 rather than 2014 model.
FWIW for 2016 they're going to 160mm forks on the 27.5" bikes (but still 150mm rear travel I believe).
