will it be 'Zed' in the British market?
Is this the new SLX, that was the new Hone. which is basically just Deore in a different colour?
yup the zee cranks look just like deores to me, the same way hones were just lx cranks painted black
Zee looks like value Saint to me, although I like those brakes.
Wonder if rosebikes will be getting the saint brakes?
and yes zee is the budget DH/freeride groupset
Nice to see them introducing a new flat pedal. I've always loved my DX30's but they are a bit old school in terms of size/thickness nowadays (I just replaced mine with some Vaults).

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Glad to see they've removed the reflector plates too.
Oops! There goes the embargo.
Oh well. Chipps' story will on the front page in the morning.
🙂
"hones were just lx cranks painted black "
They weren't
though largely the same, hone had a steel axle (maybe stiffer?) and pedal thread inserts which the lighter LX did not
IIRC SLX double/bash (~1000g) similarly has steel pedal thread inserts and steel axle, whereas SLX triple cranksets do not (889g?)
Do I see a wee shadow plus lever? If I've got the ranges right, all the XC ones will only come in medium and long so I guess Saint/Zee will be the only shortcages with it...

Bugger, I thought that was for xtr di2. Not that I could afford it, but it would be quite cool.
Brakes look monstrous
They weren't
Some were, they came in both LX-painted-black and with-steel-thread-insert-and-axle flavours.
That Saint rotor 😯
Sticky-outy aluminium mid layer by the look of it?
Zee is a bit of a crap name but the brakes and gears look good for me.
