I have a pair of 2010 RS Recon TK Gold solo air forks that have an issue where they lose travel when riding. They hold pressure, but as I ride along they compress and don't come back unless I unweight them by pulling a small manual.
I was thinking of sending them off to Loco, but with £75 for a service, around £30 for postage costs and possibly higher costs if it's not a straightforward service job, are they worth fixing?
Bearing in mind I accidentally did a small amount of damage to one of the caliper mount threads a while ago (fixed with a tap and a longer bolt), is it worth it?
Can I get a new 120mm fork of similar quality to the Recon Gold with a 1 1/8 steerer to take a 26" wheel for reasonable money anywhere?
