I've heard the stumpy is going to look like the epic, with the shock under the top tube - we've gone full circle (back to my giant ATX!!!). Anyone seen/ridden/got any idea of prices? Heard the prices are likely to rise.
Haven't heard of anything new with orange five. The shock and fork upgrades are now available.
The fox fork reliability scares me on both bikes.
Money burning hole in pocket waiting to see what they are like.
Any news/views opinions of the new bikes?
I could only see a few promises and marketing speak on that link.
It's not really time for the Stumpjumper to be updated, but it's possible. More likely to do the Enduro first I reckon.
There was a dirt article a few months ago and a workshop picture where there appeared to be a 'beefier' epic in the pic. I posted it on mtbr somewhere. We'll know soon enough though. If it turns out to be correct it will be a bike to try out.
I don't really see what they'll achieve just from moving the shock around, it's already a beefy Epic frankly. Should be interesting.
I thought (prob wrongly) that the 5 wasnt going to be continued? The ST and Blood were covering that?
I'd best dash out and buy the last of the fives then eh! Those multilink oranges look wrong.
My guess would be that the orange single pivot designs will go the way of the Orange Alpine, looks much better with an 'ole in it.
the prototype of the new patriot shown on this site a couple of weeks ago had the rear suspension linkage. As it looks like the 224's are gooing to aswell. That just leaves Alpine and Five without it. Seems logical this linkage will be across all their bike range at some stage.
