Stripped down my 575 yesterday as I've been plagued by the dreaded Yeti creak. I managed to solve this by taking off the mech hanger and covering the contact points in grease following suggestions on a number of forums, including this one, and it worked! 😀 I've not bothered tryig it before as I simply couldnt believe that a little mech hanger could be the source of such a racket! Anyway in doing this I also notice there seems to be a bit of play in the lower bearings. So the question is, has anyone changed the bearings themselves? How east is it and do I need any Yeti tools to do it? I don't have any Yeti dealers locally so it would be a trek to get it done professionally.
