Hi guys, I've recently picked up an old dirt jump bike for d*cking about in the summer, the fork on is the 2007 Marzocchi 4X, pretty decent, except one issue. The fork seemingly has lost its top out damper, meaning every time I pull up on the bars, there is a jarring "clunk". Any suggestions?

Top out damper?
Didn't they just have a stumpy little top-out spring?
Have you checked/changed the oil in them (were they still open bath in 2007?)

IIRC 2000s Marzocchis had a reputation for being a little noisy on top out, but it's definitely worth disassembling those forks to see what's what.
