Can anyone give me a measurement from the Centre BB to the bottom of the seat-tube? Just trying to work out how far I could drop a post down before the interruption of the shock hole thing. Vaguely thinging of buying a large you see.

Hi Jambon
I've got an S Works XL which is 230mm from BB centre line to the bottom of the seatpost when fully dropped (it just protrudes through so you can see it) and 680mm to the top of the seat when fully dropped on a 410mm seatpost
Hope this helps, if that's acceptable I guess a Large would be slightly less.

Post won't drop out the bottom of the seat tube if thats a concern.
mine's a large, 2006 S-Works.
I make it 49 cm from c/c of BB to top of seat tube.
26cm from c/c of BB to the seat tube lowest bit
and top of seat tube to lowest safe point is 24cm, ie where the post might stick out of the frame, at the back of the seat tube.
The seat tube opening is tapered at the bottom, higher at the back than front so I measured to the back but the tube could poke through if need be as it isn't capped.
Hope this helps.
They are astoundingly good frames BTW and with a coil shock for the rear they are wicked. My coil shock has transformed it into a monster.
Mine gets a right thrashing at every uplift opportunity and at our "now annual" Alps trip.
There is a weld that looks like it's done deliberately to stop the post dropping so that it interferes with the shock so no danger there.
I used mine in the Alps a couple of years ago too, saved me no end of times when the talent ran out!! I also swapped to a coil shock from new, brilliant bike.
for any Enduro owners looking for a coil shock that is in shockingly good condition, here is a shameless link to my ad...
