This is my wife's bike, currently with 130mm Floats, 120mm rear wheel travel

Has anyone tried running something longer on one of these (140mm or 150mm Revelations maybe)? Did it work or chopper-tastic?

thanks

130-140 on a full suss is no big deal just play with the sag until it feels right.
150 is pushing it a bit, BETD do a link kit that will increase the rear travel to match.

ive got a fsr xc pro 2005. the rear is 100mm on mine as standard,
(is your wifes the stumpjumper fsr?)
it happily took an upgrade from the manitou splice (100mm) it came with to a manitou minute (130mm).
im assuming the axle crown heights are broadly speaking similar across the manitou forks...

now has an 130mm rear from a betd link, and works well with a marzocchi all mountain, adjustable travel, set at 130-140mm if i up it to 150mm its a bit too slack, but bear in mind the axle to crown of the zocchi in 130mm is near enough the same as revelations at 150mm.

course the warrenty is worthless

yes - it is the stumpjumper FSR

kind of thought 150mm may be a step too far

I wouldn't want to stick a 36 or there or anything, but a Revelation should be alright, particularly the 140mm ones, the TALAS equipped forks went to 140mm anyway.
