Hallo! How much is the real width (lug to lug) of the 2.30 DHF?

The ertro indicates 58mm.

I will certainly buy it if it is more on the 59mm width.

Just for reference, i have the 2.30 aggressor and it measures exactly 58mm lug to lug.

I also have the older DHF 2.50 supertacky, and it measures 60mm.

you can notice 1mm width on a tyre - impressive!

width will vary based on rim/pressure etc etc.

I am glad I checked this as I was searching for exact measurements for a 2.30 aggressor so thanks for that.

I can't give any info for a 2.30 DHF sorry.

The WT 2.50 will be ok in 23mm inner width rims?

I’ve got a 2.5 dhf wt on a 25mm internal width and thats ok - although that’s probably narrrower than the tyre is designed for. As a result my tyre profile is quite rounded - so probably more progressive in how it breaks away, but has less outright grip if you through it aggressively into a corner.

In terms of size it fits through my non boost Yari but it’s not got a huge amount of clearance through the brake arch.

Maxxis WT are designed for 30-35mm rims but I’ve got one going on my Hope DH rim and that’s 28mm internal.

WT is a no go for me.

The real question is, should i go for 2.50 supertacky exo or 2.30 maxterra exo TR?

The first is a bit heavier, probably with more grip-rolling resistance, and not tubeless ready. (i will install it in tubeless rims)

Is it wider than the 2.30?

They are really small more like a 2.2, maybe 2.1

Even the 2.5 is smaller than 2.4 Michelin, Onza and Bontrager equivalents which are much closer to their claimed size.
