Hi,

I'm wondering what 160mm cranks there are put there? I'm struggling to find any. I'm 5ft 11 and moved from 170mm to 165mm and found it to be a nice change my partner is only 5ft2  and using 170mm cranks. She's finding that she's hitting her pedals alot which maybe partly  technique. The BB on her bike is pretty  low though and we ride a lot of trails with rocky technical climbs. I'm thinking it might make more sense for her to get 160mm cranks instead of 165. Any suggestions?

I have used these on my children's and wife's bikes - https://www.sourcebmx.com/products/jet-bmx-square-taper-race-cranks?variant=31801814974575

Going with these on my son's new bike - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006018474460.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.10.2db818024UziCJ

I am using with a Shimano BB - you have to trim the end of the axle down or use an axle spacer.

I found some 155mm SRAM GXP cranks when I was building my son's bike. Will see if I can find them online.

Edit these: https://fawkes-cycles.co.uk/sram-nx-gxp-crankset-155mm-32-tooth-11-speed-p13615. But I didn't pay that much!

Sram Apex come in 160mm. They are more 'gravel' than mtb but that's just a ring change.

Don't forget 5DEV too if you want something bling. I'm running their 155mm R-Spec on the big bike. They go all the way down to 145 now:

I got some 150mm goldix cranks from aliexpress for my 5ft tall girlfriend. They are a 24mm spindle (HTII) and fit sram direct mount chainrings. They are a lot cheaper than the other options and quality is fine.

Unite cranks 155 to 175 in 5mm increments. Only DUB and 30mm axle thought.

ProWheel do lots of different sizes and seem to be good quality based on the ones I've seen as OEM parts on bikes. But I've never found a supplier for them as an aftermarket part.

Worth looking at Frog bike spares too

Hi all I cannot post a new topic for some reason but I'm also interested in a shorter crank that fits a DUB BB.

Non DUB short cranks can be had as little as £70 with a lot of choice. For DUB it seems to be £200+ and for the same weight as SRAM DUB ones which are 10-15mm larger and less than half the price...

Do I just need to wait longer for more options to appear on the market..
