Magura Thor, or RS Revelations I reckon. Fox probably as well.

Marzocchi 44's. Very light, very expensive.

Fox 32's are lighter by a mile. 36 are lighter than Pikes if you pick the right model.

Fox Talas 140-120-100 (with 15mm QR) come in at a shade over 4lb, under 4lb with 9mm. Can pick them up for £500m on ebay, come with a 15mm front hub thrown in.

Fox Floats. I have the new 09 ones with the 15mm QR and they are superb forks. Better than Talas in my opinion as they seem to have way less stiction in the the seals. They react to very small bumps but still have full control over anything big. I found the Talas 08's I had needed a big bump to get them going so don't rate them as good as the Floats at all.

Yes of the pikes, Abigale may need to pimp this further if the price is right

I wouldn't avoid thors any more, mine at least have been sorted.

Zocchis are very bad these days- anyone want to buy a set of XC700 SLs? The worst forks in the world bar old SIDS? No?

Well impressed with my 140mm Manitou minute elites with the Absolute damper. Year and a half and one TFT service in and still loving them. Prefer the damping to the Revs I had before 😀

I spoke to Magura about Thors and it was suggested to wait a few months for the 'newer' ones to be in the shops as they were tinkering with things over in Germany. They'll be on my list next year!
