Decided that I just don't get enough use from my bronson, it's great for (increasingly rare) trips to bigger terrain, so decided to replace the frame for something more suited to my local wheels on the ground riding
While I'm at it, would like to knock a chunk of weight off (running the alu bronson)
Doesn't seem to be a huge choice, obvious one is the 5010, also considered Turner flux and Pivot Mach 4 carbon
Anything else I should be looking at?
Carbon Saracen Killi Flyer?
Saracen Kili Flyer X?
I also happen to be selling a brand new 19" frame 😀
Too big for me Stiggy, but I'll check em out
You can get the commencal meta V4 in 120mm.
Giant anthem 650b, run it wi 120mm forks and frame weight about 5.3lbs so very similar to carbon weight, also cheap rrp is £1095, I got mine with 15% off
Demoed a Kili Flyer yesterday. Brilliant bike. Seriously considering as my next purchase.
I've had a Mach 4C for about a month. Genuine 24.3lbs on scales with everything (pedals, cage etc) and absolutely flies like an XC bike should, but yet is super capable on the descents thanks to slightly slacker geometry and the extra travel compared to a usual XC frame.
I have some lighter wheels and XX1 coming which will cut another 1lb off.
