within a budget of £1200 to spend on a cyclocross bike, what would you go for? For general technical riding, forest trails, and the odd race. NOT a commuter, No mudguards etc.

there is still some 2013 colnago world cup disc. which i think could be haggled to 1200 quid awesome bike and great spec

I have just bought a CAADX disc with Tiagra. £1k. Frame is brilliant, I think you can get it with a better groupset for £1300-1500 so haggle-able down to your budget.

me? Kinesis pro 6, with groupset, wheels and finishing kit scavaneged from across the internet. But not for 2-3 years when hydro discs have got down to 105 level. 😀

oh and it would probably have chinese carbon disc tubs from china.

I'd get another Chinese one like mine and then use the saved cash to built some nice wheels and put some nice kit on it.

probably a Pinnacle Arkose 3 and spend £200 on something else 😛

but I just bought a Croix De Fer 🙂
