A first world problem. I have a 12 speed SLX equipped Decoy ebike with a 36t on the Shimano chainset. I would prefer 34t but can only find the chainring at around £70 as it comes with the spider which I don't need.
Can I put any bolt compatible 11 speed chainring or does it have to be a 12 speed Shimano one?
The shifting is perfect so I don't want to change that but surely that doesn't affect the rear. There is a chain device too.
