Hi I have a pro 2 hub and wanted to convert it to 10mm so I bought this

I also bought a 10mm QR through axle from superstar components.
I have opened the hope parts and the axle supplied will not allow the 10mm qr from superstars to pass through. It looks to be designed to have BOLTS threaded into the end of the hope axle.....Is that correct?
Does that mean I can't have a QR I need to get my multitool out to take the rear wheel off?
Thanks
Colin
There are 2 different Hope axles, bolt-in and bolt-through, you've got the bolt-in and you need the other one. Bolt-in comes with bolts normally btw.
(though, personally I preferred the bolt-ins, it's a little lighter and it gives 2 points of failure before the wheel can come out. Yes you need a tool to remove it but how often do you ever want to take out the back wheel without reaching for tools anyway?)
Sounds like the 10mm bolt up kit rather than 10mm bolt thru.
Ah right,
I wasnt aware that there was a bolt up and a bolt through option.
The one I ordered is the one on the link which says 'thru' in the title/description, and was supplied without bolts so it cant very well be called a 'conversion kit' weeing as all the bits to do the conversion are not included.
Do I need special bolts for the hope bolt in axle I was supplied?
Thanks for the replies so far.
It seems this is the bolt up kit supplied by CRC Clicky
And comes with bolts, It looks like I got a bolt up axle in a bolt through kit???
Colin
I think there's some problems with hope kits from CRC currently.
I bought an x12 pro2 kit last week and it arrived with 135mm end caps not 142 ones. The bag had the right label on it from hope, just the wrong contents.
They're currently 'looking into their stock' and will get back to me.
Unfortunatley I don't have the time for them to 'look into their stock' on this occasion,
I need the wheels to be up and running before Thursday next week.
Would you suggest I return the parts (even though they have been opened) and buy from another source?
or
Source the bolts from somewhere and go bolt up and let them know they supplied the wrong part?
