going 10 speed like the idea etc bought new rear mech , shifters ,chain and cassette but just wondering if I can keep my 9 speed slx chainset ? I swear someone told me on here that the slx 9 speed chainrings will work with a 10 speed chain , is this true ???

no, but maybe yes. I'm led to believe that the new 10 speed system requires a thinner chain but try it first to find out and report back
