I'am currently changing to 1x10 set up
I have 10 speed specific cassette,chain,rear mech,shifter(all slx) do I need a 10 speed specific single speed front 32t chainring or will my 9speed work or what front chainring would you use?

A 9 speed ring will be fine. A single ring specific would ideally be better but I doubt you will notice much difference. Fwiw, e13, rental and race face all make good ones
