Hi everyone,
I have an ongoing problem with this brake, under moderate braking there is a noise and vibration,i have tried everything from cleaning/resurfacing the pads, cleaning the disc, replacing the pads, recentering the calliper, checking rotor,
still no joy ,at the point now that i dont want to use the bike due to the noise, has anyone experienced this/got a fix for this??

lubrication of the pistons with a v. small amount of brake fluid should cure it

what are you cleaning the rotors with?

are they new pads you're trying or are you just sanding them down?

I too am getting this but at the moment from both front and rear. i am currently using sintered pads and think that they may be the cause as the are so hard. What type of pad are you using?

Could be contaminated brake pads, cleaning wont necessarily get rid of it either. Try some new ones

Take the wheel off and spin it checking to see if the rotor is slightly warped ?

Given that you have changed the pads, re-aligned them and checked every bolt on the bike is tight, honestly, try what I said, and if that does not work, a. let me know, and b. see what others suggest and let me know what it is that fixes it.

i have exactly the same problem, i suspect that it's to do with the pads not hitting the disc dead centre (ie at a wee bit of an angle), i'm going to get the disc mounts faced and see if that does the job

Two things to try - lube the back of the pads with a tiny amount of coppaslip.

File a 45 degree chamfer on the leading edge of the pads.

What make of pads? If you are not using genuine oe pads then you could try changeing to genuine pads

I had this on my hardtail with 08 XTs - sounded like an HGV braking. I was using the original Shimano pads and tried cleaning the rotors, sanding & baking the pads etc. That would work for a ride or 2 but then it came back. Eventually I tried swapping to another supplier's pads (SSChhh you know who) & the noise has gone.
