As the title said, the red dampening valve and pin fell of my forks... somewhere.. sometime - Is it worth replacing or is it possible to get some sort of tool to adjust it? I dont feel like spending the money if it will just fall out again.
Also, best place for getting the part? I've left a message with the local bike shop.
Thanks all!
Replacements are about £15. However an allen key of the correct size works just as well, as that's all it is, an allen key with a red anodized knob. If you do replace it, turn the QR skewer round so the lever stops it falling off.
You may find it's just a fancy version of the plastic one used on Tora/dart forks. If so, try your LBS, we kept a load back from warranty rebound cartridge replacements.
Great thanks.
Do you know what size of allen key?
Cheers
