Fazua press release:

FAZUA announces new service partnership in UK

  • Upgrade Bikes Ltd takes on complete fulfillment of after-sales and warranty claims
  • UK distributor sells to both specialist retailers and end customers
  • FAZUA will assist with dedicated field support

Ottobrunn, 15. January 2024 – With the aim of providing the best possible cycling experience combined with optimal services beyond the German-speaking market, the FAZUA brand is taking the next step and joining forces with Upgrade Bikes Ltd in the UK. From mid-January 2024 the experienced distributor will take on the complete fulfillment of after-sales and warranty claims.

Upgrade Bikes Ltd will be responsible for the UK distribution and sales of FAZUA spare parts and will carry out both warehousing and the delivery of the products. Once the partnership begins, dealers and end customers alike will be able to place their orders at www.upgradebikes.co.uk and benefit from fast, cost-effective delivery from the Upgrade headquarters. Technical support will continue to be provided by customer service at the head office in Ottobrunn.

The United Kingdom is an important target market for FAZUA in Europe. Heiko Böhle, Director Sales and After-Sales at Porsche eBike Performance, considers the strategic partnership an important step in the company’s growth: “We look forward to working with the team at Upgrade Bikes. Their local experience will help advance our international strategy in the UK through a consistently high service level for our business partners and end customers.”

Mark Noble, Head of Marketing, Upgrade Bikes is just as pleased with the start of the collaboration: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Upgrade Bikes, and mainly for UK bike shops and dealers who are looking to service and support FAZUA customers and their e-bikes – with fast and efficient spares back-up, customer service, and workshop experience on tap.”

In addition to the new distribution partnership, the FAZUA brand, which is part of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH, will offer dealers in the United Kingdom local field support through Matthew Gilliver. Matthew is a passionate cyclist with over 20 years of experience in the industry and extensive know-how on the subject of training and support.
