Lots of frames for sale. I’m not sure on the exact sizing on some of them but as a guide I’m 5’11” and they all fit me. The price is for collection, I’m on the A7 between Edinburgh and Galashiels, not far from Glentress/Innerleithen. UK postage will be £20/frame. If you want more pictures of anything just ask.

Specialized S-Works Enduro. M5 from 2004. 26” It has the Fox Float rear shock with the brain. It’s a medium, quite difficult to measure due to the weird shape but I reckon it’s a 17” with a 21½” reach. Threaded BB, 1 1/8” straight steerer, 30.9mm seatpost, 100mm QR axle. Very good condition, all bearings are spot on, no play anywhere. The jetwash has taken off some of the graphics though, first and last time that was used! £175

Specialized Demo 7 from 2009 with Hope headset. M5 alloy. 26”. Huge DH frame. Fox DHX RC4 coil shock 7″” travel, Magnesium link, asymetrical rear triangle, ISCG mount, adjustable geometry, cartridge bearing rear shock mount. I think these were one size only, but I’ve measured it as 16” with 20¾” reach. The headtube is for 1.5” forks but this comes with a Hope headset which reduces the upper half to take a more normal tapered one, it’s black with a red top-piece for a splash of colour. I can also include a Hope adapter to fit a straight fork if you need it, let me know. Threaded BB shell, 73mm, 30.9mm seatpost, 135mm rear axle. Good condition, some cosmetic marks but all bearings are good. £249

Gary Fisher Level Betty. A proper retro classic from 1999. 26” Excellent condition. Paintwork is very good, bearings are very good, even the remote lockout on the shock works! It says medium, which is 17” with a 23” reach. The shock is an original RockShox SID with a remote lockout operated by a thumbshifter, makes a bit of a squelsh sound but works fine. Threaded BB, straight 1 1/8” steerer, 135mm QR rear axle. This also comes with an original AHeadset and Bontrager seatpost and collar. V-brake and disc brake mounts and the little hose guide for the disc. £149

Handsome Dog Rockhound jump/trials/4X frame (is 4X still a thing?) from 1999/2000. Very solid little frame 13”, 23” reach. 26” wheel. Bombproof but does it’s fair share of cosmetic marks. Threaded BB shell, 135mm QR axle, V (or Magura hydraulic) brake mounts and disc mounts. 1 1/8” straight steerer, 27.2mm seatpost. There’s a chap on ebay asking over a grand for a full build, which might be a little optimistic… https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394022428822 I’ll take £25 for the frame

29” Titus Rockstar 2012. Alloy main frame with carbon fibre swingarm. (the blue bit and the white respectively). 100mm travel. This was one of the last Titus frames to be built by Sapa in Portland, Oregon. The shape makes it tricky to measure but I make it 18” with 22½” reach. This frame comes with a brand new lower swingarm section, bought as a spare but never used when they stopped making them, and a set of bearings for it. Threaded BB, tapered headtube, 135mm QR axle, 30.9mm seatpost. No shock. Usual cable rub and other marks. £60

Planet X SL Pro carbon 700C road frame and forks. It’s a medium frame. Incredibly light frame for the price, PX claim 1,025g for it but my scales aren’t accurate enough to verify this. It definitely feels light though! It comes with an FSA headset, the expander plug you use instead of a star nut in carbon forks, and an On One seat collar. Rear axle is 135mm QR, front is 100mm QR. Seatpost is 31.6mm. BB is standard BSA threaded. Frame and forks are for rim brakes. Two bottle cage mounts, removable front mech mount, cable adjustors. Good condition generally, usual scuffs and scratches you’d expect on a used frame. £125

Planet X Stealth time trial/triathlon/aero carbon road frame and forks. I think it’s a medium, could be large, but it’s fine for me at 5’11”. 135mm QR rear axle with adjustable dropouts. 100mm QR front axle. Braze on front mech mount. Threaded BB. Comes with the PX aero seatpost and PX headset. Two bottle cage mounts. Very light, PX claim 1,410g. Rim brake only. Very good condition £125

Scott Aspect 27.5”/650B alloy frame. Large, 17”, 23½” reach. 135mm QR axle, disc mount, threaded BB, straight steerer. Comes with seat collar. Best described as ‘scruffy but functional’ £15
