Lots of brakes

All prices include UK postage, but if you want to collect I’m on the A7 between Edinburgh and Galashiels, not far from Glentress/Innerleithen. I’m open to offers, especially if you want more than one item.

Pair Hayes Mag G1 brakes, the first type Hayes ever made, champagne colour with the purple logos. The full set – levers, callipers, pads, hoses, rotor bolts, discs, adapters. All in cosmetically good condition. The rear is full working order, the front might just need a bleed or the lever might need new seals, I’m not sure. The front calliper is post-mount. The rear calliper is the really old 22mm ‘Hayes Direct Mount’ used between 1999 and 2001 by Klein, Trek, Gary Fisher, GT and a few others. If you have this type of mount you don’t have many options, there’s these and some equally rare Hope C2/O2s and that’s about it. They use standard Hayes HFX9/Mag pads though so at least they won’t be a problem. £50

Pair 3×9 XTR dual-control gear shifters/brake levers. Full brake set included, both callipers, hoses, bled and ready to go, pads (used but loads left) two 160mm 6-bolt discs, all bolts etc. Callipers are both IS, if you need a PM fork adapter let me know and I can chuck one in. Very good condition, a bit of cable rub from a lockout underneath the left lever body but otherwise excellent. £89

Shimano ST-R785 left hydraulic brake lever and Di2 shifter. Good condition cosmetically. I’ve been using it as a brake lever only on my singlespeed, I assume the shifter bit works but this has not been tested! There’s only one on ebay just now and he’s asking £105, which seems a lot. Does £70 for this sound OK?

Shimano XT right/front brake. BL-M785-B lever, BR-785 calliper, 38¼” (970mm) hose. Will definitely need new pads. £45

Shimano Deore left/rear brake. SL-M6100 lever and BR-M6100 calliper. Used pads included, some life left. Hose is 51¼” (1,300mm) Good condition. £25

Shimano Deore left/rear brake SLM525 lever calliper and BR-M525 calliper. Needs new pads. Hose is 51½” (1,310mm) £15

Shimano 105 ST-5700 gear shifter and brake lever. Left/front shifter, can be either front or rear brake. Can be used as either double or triple. For cable gears and brakes £19

Pair Shimano XT SM-RT86S Ice-Tech floating rotors. 160mm. Includes rotor bolts and washers. One is a little worn but they work fine. £19

Two pairs of brand new, unopened packages genuine sintered Formula brake pads. These will fit The One, Mega, R1, RX, R0, T1, C1, CR1, CR3. They were £22.95 each from my LBS, £30 for both

Also available but not pictured as I haven’t removed them from the bike yet are a pair of Dura Ace 7700 callipers. Good working order but the little lever which opens it up has broken on the rear £45
