Absolutely brilliant kids MTB. Unusual mix of light weight but also excellent handling and capability.
Been used by our two kids at trailcentres, longish XC routes, Finale and dozens of epic locations across the alps.
Rear wheel is a DT Swiss 1900 which I bought so I could set it up tubeless with an insert. Still have the old wheel and lighter tyre (can only be used with tubes due to a ding which stops it sealing tubeless.)
Seatpost is a replacement Brand-X. Note that it is longer than the original Giant one so if your kid is tiny then you may initially need to limit the dropper travel with a bit of cord.
Oh yeah. The saddle isn’t the original either.
Note that this 27.5″ Anthem is nothing like the skittish, twitchy monstrosity that is the 29″ Anthem. Its a really stable, capable Bike ( and also pretty light)
Can meet Manchester, North Wales, Lakes, Newcastle, Peak etc
