In this week’s podcast Mark and Benji disagree with Hannah over whether Red Bull Hardline belongs in mountain biking, and whether Hannah’s arm belongs in its socket. Or so Mark says. Hannah can’t really remember. They probably talk about rain – has there been anything else to talk about?
I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones.
More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments.
I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.
The podcast is great but can you please put some sort of compression on it to sort out the volume levels between speakers? Mark speaks and I have to turn the volume up, Benji comes booming in and the volume goes back down again.
I 100% agree and Hannah was like a church mouse. I was up and down on the volume button and in the end, just gave up listening. Please sort it out, as I really enjoy the podcast, it’s informative, funny and great to hear your opinions. The volume issue is just becoming a regular issue though. 😭
+1 on the levels thing.
Enjoying the podcasts but i honestly thought I’d blown an eardrum when I listened to a podcast with Mark, Hannah etc at just about audible levels turned up to 11, and then the MUTN Podcast automatically came on next it was like that opening scene in Back to the Future! 😳🤕😳
