Megasack Giveaway Day 3: Ridgeback MX20 Kid’s Bike

by 13

Yes, we’re back! Day 3, on 5th December? That’s right: the daily prizes are on week days only, because the Singletrack elves need a little rest every now and then. And we don’t want you getting too over excited.

Squeee! Ok, ok… let’s have some instructions to calm you down…

Not been here before? Not sure what’s going on? It’s quite simple: we have daily prizes to be won, plus another of each prize which goes into our Megasack. Each day that you enter, you might win the daily prize. Whoop! But each daily entry also counts as an entry to win the Megasack. Enter every day to maximise your chances of winning the Megasack. Miss out on a daily entry because you don’t think that prize is one you want? You’re losing out on an extra chance to win the Megasack.

To enter, you need to be logged in – it’s free to sign up. Once logged in, the entry box will reveal itself with a question. Answer it correctly to submit your entry. Easy peasy! Please note that prizes can only be sent to a UK address. Now that you’re caught up on what’s going on, let’s find out about the first great prize we have for you today.

Ridgeback MX20 Kid’s Bike

Yes, a whole bike! This Ridgeback MX20 kid’s mountain bike is perfect for young riders measuring 120-140cm tall looking for their first off road adventures. You get semi slick tyres for good speed on smoother surfaces and plenty of traction on loose ground. A coil sprung suspension fork smoothes out the bumps and six Shimano gears operated with a twist shifter help little legs up the hills.

It’s designed to provide an upright ride position for giving confidence when riding off road, and could well spell the happy beginnings of a life full of riding fun.

Want to win one? Watch the video!

Make sure you’re logged in so you can see and answer the question below.

Friday’s Winner

The winner of Day 2 is user doey

We’ll be in touch to get your prize sent to you but if you want to steal a march on that and help us out then email charlie.hobbs@singletrackworld.com with your address, and mobile number (for the courier) now.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.

Is there a way we can enter today to get the mega sack entry but be excluded from todays prize? I have or know no children who could use this in the off chance I won it and would rather it be won by someone who’s child will love it.

Yes. Just enter today’s competition tomorrow. You can’t win, but will go into the megasack draw.

Yet another year, and the Royal Mail still haven’t found a way to cross the UK border. The Singletrack World is still rather small.

In all fairness, the UK has made is even more difficult to get stuff from outside this country in as well as STW unable to get stuff sent outside the border.

Given the size of the prizes, I suspect the postage will be astronomical – pretty sure the last 3 years have had the winner getting themselves to STW Towers to collect all the prizes.

I’m not really that annoyed. There are probably also sponsorship limitations, and I do find the format and the content very entertaining, even if I’ll never see the sack 🙂 I’m hoping that STW might enter some sort of partnership with some continental magazine. Mostly to get more riding articles from the great locations across Europe. STW is by far the best european based MTB magazine, even for someone not living in the UK.
